About me

For 12 years I trod the boards as a soprano then in 2020 I swapped concert dresses for welly boots and retrained in horticulture and garden design.

After completing RHS Level 3 I trained in Garden Design at the English Gardening School. I went on to win both the Judges Choice and People’s Choice Award in my first show border at the Belvoir Castle Flower Show sponsored by the London College of Garden Design.

I’m passionate about giving people confidence in their own garden and helping them to discover and nurture an enthusiasm for plants. As such I now work as a ‘gardener with’, working along side people to help them tackle their gardens, prune, divide, replant and so on. I also offer consultation visits to work through a plan of action for a garden with follow up notes and suggestions, as well as planting design and plant sourcing.

I love to write about the joys and woes of gardening and have written for the Telegraph and Garden Answers magazine. My blog won ‘Gardening Blog of the Year’ in the 2020 GMG Awards
